Maria joined the Honey Barrett Medical team in October 2020, after originally working for Honey Barrett in 1996 and is based in our Bexhill office. She has over 25 years’ experience in accounting with a background in management and running her own business.

Maria has a portfolio of clients ranging from corporate entities to NHS Medical Professionals and is highly involved with the preparation of Tax Returns, Locum accounts and Consultant Private Practice accounts for our specialist medical department. Maria is responsible for monitoring Making Tax Digital updates and considering how these will impact our medical sector clients. Thanks to her extensive knowledge of the cloud accounting packages Xero and Sage, she is well placed to consider these upcoming changes. She is also a Xero certified advisor.

Maria enjoys weekends away and trips abroad with her family and friends and she is a keen supporter of the Brain Tumour Charity.
