Honey Barrett’s current corporate structure was created in 2007 following on from its predecessor partnership. Paul led the corporate firm as Managing Director from the start until May 2020 when the MD responsibility was taken on by Abi Newbury. Paul now continues to focus his efforts on looking after his clients, but having taken a step back from the leadership of the firm.

Specialising in medium sized and larger businesses, he ensures that all aspects of financial advice are considered in delivering services so that practical business issues are combined with suitable tax planning. Paul works in tandem with fellow director Louise Underdown.

Paul is qualified to deal with audits and looks after both corporate and non-corporate audit clients. Special interests include budgeting, his creations PRISM and the associated Dynamic Budget and Cash Flow Forecasting tool and he oversees the personal and corporate tax planning for all his clients.

Paul believes strongly in continuity of service for clients and remains dedicated to providing them with the excellent service they are used to, whilst still providing the benefit of his wealth of experience to the leadership team at Honey Barrett. He is always keen to take on new clients.
