Avtar Bansel BSc FCA

Director

Professional

Director Avtar joined Honey Barrett in 2003 after graduating from University College London with a degree in Mathematics. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 after gaining a grounding in accountancy through the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification. In 2021 he was made a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).

Avtar spends his time between both our Wadhurst and Eastbourne offices with his main focus being on assisting businesses with their strategy and helping them grow utilising forecasting and restructuring. Not only can Avtar assist with business and accountancy advice he has a large network of professional contacts who can assist in other areas as needs be.

In addition to client work, Avtar also heads up our Xero team and ensures that our staff and clients are kept at the forefront of any developments in an ever-changing technological landscape.

Personal

Avtar is a music fanatic, regularly attending shows and festivals in both the UK and abroad. He is also a big sports fan, particularly football and cricket.
