Amy James ACA
Director, Amy joined the team in 2010 as a work experience intern while first studying accounting and finance at university. She became a valuable member of the team and was soon promoted to client manager, gaining extensive experience in the areas of corporate, medical, and personal accountancy, while gaining her ACA qualification in 2015.
In her role as client manager, Amy’s client section grew considerably and with her hard work, dedication to Honey Barrett and determination to succeed she was promoted to Director in October 2023.
Amy is based at our Bexhill office and continues to manage an extensive range of personal and corporate client services offering tax advice and planning, compliance work such as accounts and tax returns, overseeing the bookkeeping department and working with MD Abi Newbury, in managing our ever growing and successful team.
Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is kept busy by her two young sons and husband.
She loves living and working by the sea and at the weekend will often be found trying to tire her children out by scooting down the promenade, having fun in the woods, playing football in the park and visiting local attractions. She plays tennis regularly and is a keen amateur photographer, often having her camera in tow.
