Roy Jenkins returns to Honey Barrett Chartered Accountants after 18 Years
Honey Barrett Chartered Accountants have warmly welcomed Roy Jenkins back to the firm after an 18 year long absence. Roy rejoined the Bexhill branch in October to support the tax team on a part-time basis.
Roy began his journey with Honey Barrett in 1989, following a 17 year stint at HMRC, where he worked his way through the ranks to become an Inspector of Taxes. His expertise in the field was recognised by one of the Honey Barrett partners and he was invited to join the team to focus on HMRC investigations.
During his 11 years with Honey Barrett, Roy's work was highly valued and he was a well liked and respected member of the team, both by colleagues and clients. Choosing to accept a new challenge in the year 2000, Roy became Head of the Personal Tax Department at an Uckfield-based accountancy practice.
After a successful 18 years, Roy saw the opportunity to take some well-deserved extended time off and resigned from his position in August of this year. Upon hearing of his newfound availability, Liz Densley, Director of Honey Barrett, posed the question inviting him to come back on board. Having kept in touch over the years, Roy was very pleased to hear of the offer and agreed to return on a part-time basis.
Roy expressed his enthusiasm to return to the team, "Honey Barrett are a highly respected firm of specialist accountants. I am keen to once again be a part of this and to help the practice continue to build." Liz Densley said of Roy's appointment, "I am delighted to welcome Roy back to the tax department where he will be an invaluable source of knowledge and experience within our team."
Honey Barrett Chartered Accountants have offices in Bexhill, Eastbourne and Wadhurst where they offer a broad range of specialised services to business, individuals and medical professionals.
