Liz joined the firm in 1971. She leads the medical services department, which includes a team of six qualified accountants, all specialising in the field. She is a founder member of the Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants, an organisation launched in 1995 to promote and develop high quality accountancy standards within the medical sector.

Liz writes a regular column for locum GPs and has contributed to various publications over the years, including co-authoring the book, Managing Money for GPs. A chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, she enjoys talking to trainee GPs and new consultants about tax and finance for the self-employed. She also acts for a number of personal and business clients, always with a view to minimise taxes and provide peace of mind.

Personal

Liz enjoys spending time in Florida with her family. A keen dancer in her youth, she now enjoys the gentler pursuits of Egyptian dancing, swimming and crocheting. With enough warning, she is able to crochet a blanket for every first baby born to her clients.
