Julie Knight
Bookkeeping Facilitator
Professional
Julie joined the firm in 2004. She has previously practised as a Registered General Nurse and qualified as a Midwife. She specialised in medicine and palliative care, which saw her at St Wilfred’s Hospice for 6 years. She also holds a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies, which enabled her to own and run a small Nursery school for 6 years.
Julie’s role at Honey Barrett through HB2, is to facilitate the learning of clients to do their own bookkeeping with the support of the ‘More Bookkeeping’ software programme.
She works with clients on a one to one basis at their home or at their place of work.
The process involves organising a practical filing system that works for the client and supports the data entry onto the software, thus highlighting ‘Good Bookkeeping Practice’, giving the client confidence that they are keeping appropriate records, which are endorsed by their Accountant.
Personal
Julie enjoys travel and seeing other parts of the World. In her spare time she likes to paint, particularly in acrylics. |
