George joined in the firm in 1977 as a trainee Chartered Accountant and qualified in 1982. He has developed the firm’s specialist expertise in the TV and entertainment industries. He also acts for medical practices and works with many local businesses to help them comply with their statutory financial requirements and minimise their tax liabilities.

George has a keen interest in computing, helping many clients with the computerisation of their accounting records in the early days of PCs. He is responsible for the design and management of Honey Barrett’s office network and software systems and also provides support to clients, including training in the use of their own software.

A keen member of the Hastings BNI Chapter, George is particularly interested in networking and meeting new people.

Personal

George is past president of the local Lions Club and is still very involved in raising funds and helping others. For many years he has also helped to organise the Bexhill Carnival, which raises funds for local charities.
