Liz’s specialist area is personal tax planning and professional partnerships.  The majority of her clients are in the healthcare professions for whom she provides a specialist accounting, tax and financial planning service.

Liz founded aisma (association of independent specialist medical accountants) which enables us to provide an exceptional benchmarking services for GPs as well as keep up to date with the continuous changes in the industry.

Liz is available to speak to groups of GP Registrars, locums, GP’s or consultants on various tax/accounts related matters and has co-authored “Managing Money for General Practitioners”, which is now in its second edition and is published by Radcliffe Medical Press.

Caroline trained with Deloitte & Touche, specialising in owner managed businesses of all sizes including audits of those entities where required. She is a qualified Chartered Certified accountant with 10 years experience in practice. Speaking fluent French, she also has experience of auditing UK subsidiaries of international companies and group reporting.

Peter trained with a top 20 firm in London and when he joined Honey Barrett in 2001 he brought with him a wide experience of general practice work particularly in relation to the needs and aims of owner-managers of a variety of sizes of private company and other business vehicles.

Since being with Honey Barrett he has expanded his knowledge and as senior client manager in Eastbourne he now also specialises in corporate taxation and the audit requirements of larger companies.

Abi joined Honey Barrett in August 2002 as client manger for Liz Densley and is now helping to develop our growing specialist department serving medical professionals. In addition she is building her own client following where she enjoys providing support and training to small businesses.

Julie joined us in December 2005. She initially trained with the Inland Revenue, moving into practice in 1985 where she dealt with business and personal tax clients of all types.

Julie’s experience of both people and tax enables her to provide the standard of service and peace of mind that our clients need and appreciate.

David has many years' experience of dealing with payroll services. He has developed an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of payroll and is a Member of the Institute of Payroll and Pensions Management and also holds the IAB Diploma in Payroll Administration.

Kate joined us in February 2003 on a training contract and is now a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant.

As well as dealing with a broad range of small businesses and personal tax clients, Kate is spending more time working on accounts and tax for GPs and particularly advising on VAT for Dispensing Practices.

Claire joined Honey Barrett in September 2008 as client manager for George Coleman, assisting with the accounts and taxation work for his portfolio of clients. She is keen to specialise in taxation and is studying for the Chartered Tax Advisor exams.

Julie joined Honey Barrett in November 1992, and over the years has worked alongside the Partners to develop the personnel, training & development processes, resulting in achievement of Investors in People status for the firm in February 1999. Julie also provides support to the Partners in areas such as Compliance, Employment Law, Internal Accounting and Marketing activities freeing up their time to concentrate on supporting clients.
